I started my journey a little over two and a half years ago with the sole purpose to document key moments in my sons life. I didn't want to go the route of portrait studios and cheesy backgrounds, I just wanted to be able to share moments with him when he became an adult.

For a while, my photography was a hobby. I casually showed a few shots to a close friend and she suggested that I try my hand at music photography. Ive always had an appreciation for all of the arts but I have been in love with music forever. It seemed only natural that I merge the two together. Through a mutual friend's connections, I was given my first opportunity to shoot a show,  a showcase featuring local Houston, Texas artists [HISD].

That night changed my life.

That night, I discovered a new love and a deeper passion for art. Photography not only gives me the the ability to express myself, but it gives me a chance to channel the energy that I feel directly to my viewer.

The feeling that you get standing at the front and center of the show is undescribable, Its a true rush, that moment creates the most pure connection to music.

My goal is not just to capture an image, but to capture the rush.  I want to give my viewers that feeling, and share the connection that I have with the music at that moment.

When I shoot music photography, I want it to go beyond an image on a screen, I want my viewers to be able to feel the personalities of the different artists, Feel the power of the music, and the passion that I have for capturing the moment.
